Berry Cobbler with Nacho Streusel and Lime Ice Cream
It’s stoner fare- crushed up corn chips with some sweet, colored slop. Give it a chance, though. Streusel topping is a good catch all if you don’t go too crazy. Get the right level of sweetness/saltiness, a good amount of texture, and some interesting flavors, and pretty much anything will fly. (more…)
Fentons Creamery
They’ve been doing construction on the apartment next door for over a month now. It’s my day off. It’s raining, and it’s freezing- better get some ice cream.
Apparently the same people who run the Birthright Israel trips also run day excursions in and around the bay area. You don’t need to be Jewish to attend, so much as you need to appear Jewish. With a name like mine, if the Nazis ever rise to power again, I’m sure to be first in line to take a shower. So I have no qualms about tagging along for free ice cream. Thanks again guys!
